Job Title = Control system Technician
Location = South West
Salary = £ 30000.00 to £ 35000.00 per annum
We are looking for a Control system Technician
£30,000 to £33,000 (negotiable)
Holiday entitlement of 22 days per calendar year rising after 3 years by 1 day each year to 25 days on 5 years' service

To maintain & manage current operating control systems utilized on Timber Treatment plants of varying degrees of complexity throughout the UK & Ireland for effective continued production capabilities and maximizing throughput.
Design & Specify control systems for industrial automation systems
To effectively monitor the control systems reliability, functionality & suitability.
To provide effective electrical / control system breakdown support to our customers.
Maintain & develop existing PLC control systems
Help develop New PLC Control System
To develop a keen understanding of fluid transfer system processes through P&ID information and direct onsite learning & assessment of the plant functionality.
To ensure effective informative support to Engineer manager / Regional Business managers and Service technicians based out in the field.
To identify and develop opportunities for the implementation of new control systems and the update of existing systems.
To ensure that where applicable all customers control systems have updated system information held on record.
To install, upgrade, modify, adapt new and existing control systems with suitable new and innovative solutions
To provide effective IT support for data management which is part of the control system.
To help develop informative and concise instructions for current & future control systems for internal use and for customers.
To record, monitor and manage all company, contact, and actions within CRM
(Web and iPad) on a daily basis to ensure regular and effective communication across all relevant functions
Undertake any other duties as agreed with the Engineering Manager consistent and suitable for the needs of the company.
The ability to establish good working relationships with Engineering team / regional Sales colleagues to provide effective customer focused support & solutions.
The ability to develop relationships with customers on all levels of seniority
Provide effective control system support
Flexible, adaptive in their approach to working hours to suit our customer's needs.

Willingness to work away from home where & when required.
